Taffs Well Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Hooper as our new assistant manager.
Dan joins Craig Sampson's coaching staff in advance of the new season in the JD Cymru South.
A Wellman in his younger days, Dan brings with him a wealth of experience. He was a Welsh Futsal International and a mainstay in the Welsh football leagues, playing for Pontypridd Town and Caerau Ely amongst others.
Since retiring as a player, Hooper had a managerial stint at Caerau Ely prior to the pandemic. We are pleased to see he has teamed up again with Sampson, who previously managed him at Caerau Ely.
Everyone at the Club is excited to welcome Dan. The direction of the Club both on and off the pitch are heading in positive directions. As preseason comes to a close we look forward to games returning to Rhiw'r Ddar and hope our fans can be there with us throughout the season.
