Taffs Well Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Kevin Francis as Chairman.
Kevin has served on the committee for a number of years as the club's media manager and brings a wealth of management experience from his professional career. He succeeds club legend Lee Bridgeman, who has passed on the torch.
Kevin has been an integral part of the Taffs Well family since moving to the area. His dedication and passion for the club has seen him evolve from a devoted fan sitting in the stands to an invaluable committee member. Kevin's commitment to the club's success, combined with his ideas for modernisation, made him the ideal candidate for the role.
Upon his appointment, Kevin stated: "Taffs Well has been a huge part of my life for years and it is an honour to be asked to drive the club forward."
"I deeply appreciate the history and the effort put in by all those currently involved with the running of the club. I am proud to be associated with Taffs Well who have a longstanding positive reputation. I'm committed to embracing the priorities placed upon football teams at this level.
My aim is for the club to become an asset for the community and an organisation everyone associated with should rightly be proud of."
"I have been working with both the men's and women's teams over the past few seasons and look forward to supporting their endeavours on the pitch, whilst driving meaningful change off the field, ensuring that Taffs Well Football Club continues to progress."
The club is excited to embark on a new chapter and look forward towards a bright and successful future.
