Taffs Well Development team have won the Cymru Development League South with a 4-0 win against second place Briton Ferry Llansawel Development.
As a club we have focused on youth during the past few years and it is hugely encouraging to see the results. In addition to winning the league, the Development team has also seen seven first team debuts, an plus 50 goal difference, seven consecutive wins and three Welsh school boy caps. Of course, every player who helped contributed to the successful season deserves nothing but the highest praise. Huge credit must also go to Nick Haincock and Elliot Matthews for their hard work coaching and developing the players. Lastly, a thank you to those who work hard behind the scenes such as Norma, Steve and Malcolm to ensure the matches have gone ahead smoothly. The future is bright, the future is black and yellow!
